Indie rock update of “Back to the Future”, featuring Ed Droste from Grizzly Bear going back in time to ensure his parents get married, and accidentally inventing indie rock.  Oh, except because he’s gay, he’s got to get back to his boyfriend in the present, and not have uncomfortable, severely repressed gay sex with his own father in the past, complete with locker room shower scene instead of parking outside the school dance.  Features scads of cameos of pretty much anyone vaguely famous in indie culture, plus Doc Brown is played by Thurston Moore.
